We are proud to offer classes on Fridays or Saturdays to help those with busy schedules. A Dental Assistant must be trained in dental terminology, dental procedures, sterilization, Radiology, and Dental Computer Systems.
Our school and teaching facility is set within Synergy Dental in Lindon. In addition to our excellent curriculum, our students spend the majority of their class time in the lab and operatories taking advantage of the materials, instruments, supplies, and equipment that is utilized by the dentist in his practice. Going to school is more than just receiving a certificate. We believe it is an experience. As part of your experience at Practical Dental Assisting of Utah, we offer free internships in Synergy Dental after a student completes week 5 of their classes and passes their midterm. This offers them live patient interaction along with a first hand look at how to implement the concepts they are taught during class. This internship is not a requirement as not all students are available during the week to participate. But we strongly encourage all who are willing and capable to take advantage of this great opportunity.
